Very simple and nice contemporary light fixture. The Xenon light is not the bright white we expected, which is fine with us. We purchased this to replace the dated builder light fixtures. Instead of putting recess lighting, these flush mount fixtures did the trick without damaging the ceiling. The voltage also saves energy (instead of 120 watts in each old fixture, it's now 40 watts). One problem is that the fixture base may not cover hole in the ceiiling completely (smaller 9" model). We need to rotate the fixture to cover the hole as much as we can. Another con is that the cover of the fixture is clip-on and may not be aligned perfectly level when we installed it. Otherwise, the installation was very simple.
